1. Is Rovia a full service ARC/IATAN agency?
Yes, Rovia, previously known as Putman Travel, has been in business 27 years.
2. Can I earn IATAN ID with Rovia?
Yes, Once you have earned $5,000 in commissions in any calendar year and complete IATAN application then you can apply for your IATAN ID based on IATAN rules.
3. Does Rovia issue a travel agent ID card?
No! Rovia recommends CLIA or qualify for IATAN as these are the only two organizations that Rovia recognizes as industry recognized agent ID cards
4. Can I purchase the Leisure Travel Consultant system (LTC) direct from Rovia?
No! Rovia has an agreement with a third party company that has the exclusive marketing rights to represent the DreamTrips and LTC system. If interested to join Rovia please

5. Does Rovia issue payments for recruiting or enrolling other LTCs’ into Rovia?
No, An LTC cannot enroll or recruit anyone to Rovia. Rovia only issues commissions related to selling travel and acquiring Premium Preferred Customers
6. If I am a travel industry professional and want to contract with Rovia at
a higher level than LTC, such as Booking Travel Agent (BTA) or Travel Reservation Specialist (TRS),
do I have to start the program as a LTC?
No, all participant must start at LTC as every travel agent should have the end consumer GDS booking engine to complement their main business as this will only generate and retain more customers and offer the tools to be competitive to the internet websites.
7. Are there fees related to becoming a BTA or TRS?
Yes, Once you have became an LTC then you can upgrade for nominal fee which Includes pre-paid BTA/TRS exam which must be passed prior to approval to participate at a level higher then LTC. BTA exam can be taken without taking the required 10 courses but if your industry experience is limited you can select all or select courses to prepare for the BTA and or TRS exam.
8. If I don’t pass the BTA or TRS exam can the test be retaken?
Yes, for additional fee each time
9. Is Rovia offering employment opportunities?
No, at this time we only offer commissions as Independent contractor.
